Your privacy, in plain English.

What we collect

When you fill out our quote form, we get what you type in: your name, your email, your business name, your phone number if you choose to give it, the plan you’re interested in, and your message about your business. We don’t ask for payment details, Social Security numbers, or anything like that on this site.

After the quote form, we invite you to a short “step 2” form where you can tell us a bit more (like your hours, the area you serve, and the look you like) and upload a few photos of your business. We use those details and photos only to prepare your quote and a free preview of what your website could look like. Your photos are stored securely, viewable only through a private link, and never sold or shared. To make a preview look its best we may brighten or straighten your photos and add sample “mood” images that match your description — we’ll never pass those off as pictures of your real business.

If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. Our business addresses — hello@getsetup.online, pay@getsetup.online, and quotes@getsetup.online — all forward to the GetSetup business mailbox. Only GetSetup reads them.

Like nearly every website, our hosting service also sees basic technical info when you visit — things like your IP address, browser type, and which pages were loaded. That’s used to keep the site running and safe, not to build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To reply to you with a quote, answer your questions, and — if you hire us — do the work. If you ask us to call, we’ll use your phone number for that. We won’t sign you up for a newsletter or marketing list just because you asked for a quote.

Who sees it

Only GetSetup. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We’ll only share it if the law requires us to.

Services that help run the site

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you send the quote form, your message is stored securely in Cloudflare’s storage so it can reach us. Cloudflare handles that data on our behalf to run the site — not for their own advertising. If you hire us, we may use everyday business tools (like email) to work with you.

Payments

We never collect card numbers on this website. Card payments happen on our payment processor’s secure checkout page (Square), which handles your card details under its own privacy policy — we just see that you paid. If you pay with Bitcoin, we send you an invoice and see the payment on the Bitcoin network, like any Bitcoin payment.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or sell-your-data analytics. The site itself doesn’t set cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a small security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots — that’s it.

How long we keep it

Preview links are private and not listed on search engines. Photos you upload are kept for up to a year unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.

We keep quote requests while we’re talking with you and for a while after, in case you come back to us — generally no longer than about two years. If you become a customer, we keep what we need to support your website and accounts and for normal business records.

Want it removed or changed?

Just ask. Email hello@getsetup.online or send a note through the contact form saying you’d like your information deleted or corrected, using the same email you used before. We’ll take care of it and let you know when it’s done.

Kids

This site is for business owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
